During the month of April we will be celebrating National Poetry Month. All this week in the library we have been reading poems from some wonderful poetry books. Students have learned where to look in the library to find the poetry ( the 800's). Starting Friday, April 10 through the end of the month we will be having a "lucky reader" contest in the library. Students who check out a book from the poetry section will have the chance to be a "lucky reader." Selected poetry books have been designated in our computer system , and the student that checks them out will hear the "bad beep" but it will actually tell them that they are a lucky reader. They will then get to choose a prize out of the prize basket. Choose a book of poetry and you may be a winner!
Hello! Welcome to the Taylor library blog. My name is Diana Huff and I have been the librarian at Taylor since 2008. Please visit this blog for news and information about the Taylor library, as well as to keep up to date on all of the fun things happening here week to week. I also post the books I'm reading (C.I.P. summaries are used).
