Book Fair Thanks

Thank you to all of you who came and shopped at our Taylor Book Fair last week! We had an amazing book fair thanks to all of you. I especially want to thank Mrs. Howard for all of her hard work as our PTA book fair chair. It takes a lot of work to run a successful book fair, and Mrs. Howard assembled a wonderful team of volunteers who set up, ran, and packed up the book fair. As your librarian I am particularly grateful because the library benefits so much from the book fair. In the coming weeks look for many new books to be added to our collection, including many of the Bluebonnet books for next year! These were obtained for our library using book fair proceeds and we are very excited to have them!!

Book Fair: It's a Reading Celebration!

It's Book Fair time again!! Our spring Book Fair will be open Monday, February 27 - Friday, March 2. The Book Fair hours are Monday - Thursday from 7:30 - 3:20, and Friday from 7:30 - 12:00. Please join us on Monday - Thursday for Lunch With a Loved One, where Taylor students are welcome to invite loved ones to each lunch with them and then shop the Book Fair together. Our Family Movie Night will be Monday night from 6:30 - 8:30. Come watch Dolphin Tale and shop the Book Fair!! We hope you all will join us for our Reading Celebration!!

Book Fair Thanks

It was another successful book fair! Thank you to all of the PTA members who volunteered during the week to make the book fair run smoothly. Also, I would like to give a very special thank you to the book fair chair, Mrs. Howard. It is great to see the students get so excited about the books they purchased. It is also wonderful to be able to choose so many beautiful, hardcover books to add to our library collection. Thank you shoppers!

To The Book Fair and Beyond!!

The Book Fair is here!! We will be open for business next week, October 24 - 28. On Monday through Thursday our shopping hours will be 7:30 - 3:20. We are also having "Lunch With a Loved One" on these days. On Friday we will be open for shopping from 7:30 - 12:00. On Monday night the Book Fair will be open from 6:30 - 8:00 for our family night. There will also be a third grade performance that night as well as Dippin' Dots ice cream! The Book Fair is full of amazing titles this fall and we can't wait to have you visit!!

Book Fair Carnival:Your Ticket to Read

The book fair carnival has arrived! Come visit the fair this week from 7:30 - 4:00 M-Th and 7:30 - 1:00 on Friday. The fair will also be open on Tuesday night starting at 6:30. You can come to watch Toy Story 3 and shop the fair.

I always love to see the library and hallway decorated for book fair. The kids get so excited because the decorations mean book fair is on the way!

Book Fair ~ Here's to Our Heroes!

Book fair is happening this week! We had some real life heroes visit our book fair on Monday and Tuesday. A policeman and firemen from Plano visited with students while they previewed the book fair. The book fair will be open from 7:30 - 4:00 daily, and 7:30 - 1:00 on Friday. Come by and shop for some great books today!

The Book Fair Diner came to Taylor recently. There were so many good books to choose from! Thank you to the Book Fair moms for all of their hard work that made it possible!

The Book Fair is here! Classes begin previewing today, and will continue through Tuesday. The Book Fair will be open on Monday, February 22 from 7:30 - 3:30. Our family night event will be Monday night from 6:30 - 8:00. You are invited to attend Taylor's first annual Creative Art Night, and shop the Book Fair while you're here. Tuesday, February 23 - Thursday, February 25 the Book Fair will be open from 7:30 - 4:00. On Friday the Book Fair will be open from 7:30 - 1:00. On Tuesday through Friday parents are invited to come eat lunch with their child and shop the Book Fair together.

Destination Book Fair

The Taylor fall book fair was a huge success! Thank you to everyone who volunteered their time to keep the fair running smoothly. Thank you also to everyone who shopped at the fair! Because of your purchases we were able to pull many beautiful new hardcover books to add to our collection, and many new paperbacks as well. I hope you're enjoying reading all of your new book fair books!

Book Fair Is Here!

Book Fair has come to Taylor! We have been busy selling books all week. If you haven't been to shop yet, you have until Friday at noon. Thanks to all of the PTA volunteers who make our book fair a huge success. Check out the awesome decorations...

New Wimpy Kid Book Coming Soon!

Have you seen Greg in the library? He is generating lots of excitement for the newest Wimpy Kid book coming out soon. Dog Days by Jeff Kinney will be available for sale at our fall book fair the last week of October.

Lights, Camera, Book Fair!

The Book Fair came to the Taylor library last week! There were many fun events during the week. On Monday morning Geronimo Stilton visited during GMT to help promote the Book Fair. Monday evening the Book Fair was open during the PTA movie night. Tuesday through Thursday we had VIP lunches where students invited Very Important People in their lives to come and eat lunch with them and shop the Book Fair afterwards. On Friday the winner of the estimation contest from each class was announced with each student winning a free poster. Thank you so much to Susan Moore and all of the Book Fair moms who worked so hard to make the Book Fair a huge success! The Book Fair is a wonderful fundraiser that not only raises money for the PTA and library, but exposes our students to the excitement of brand new books!
