Ocean Animal Research




I am excited to have our first graders coming to the library for their very first research project! They are researching different types of ocean animals. Each student will choose one crustacean, invertebrate, bird, mammal, and fish to research. This is a big step for them and they are doing a great job!

President Research


Every year at Taylor third grade comes to the library to research U.S. presidents the week we have the President's Day holiday. Each students chooses a different president to research. They learn many interesting facts about their presidents and so do I!

Bluebonnet Parties

Students who read five of this year's Bluebonnet books were invited to their grade's Bluebonnet party. As they arrived, they learned that this year's state winer was The Uglified Ducky by Willy Claflin. Students enjoyed blue drinks and donuts, facepainting and tattoos, playing awesome games, and choosing a free paperback book. It was a great time!!

Book Fair Carnival:Your Ticket to Read



The book fair carnival has arrived! Come visit the fair this week from 7:30 - 4:00 M-Th and 7:30 - 1:00 on Friday. The fair will also be open on Tuesday night starting at 6:30. You can come to watch Toy Story 3 and shop the fair.
